My celebrant journey started after my dad’s funeral, and I’ve been hooked ever since—helping people celebrate life’s big moments with love and authenticity.

I first met Cate as she was recommended to me by an experienced funeral celebrant in London (her reputation is nationwide!) and I undertook funeral celebrant training with her some 18 months ago. I found her training an excellent mix of the formal and technical, and the very practical, with some top tips.

Over the last 12 months, I have performed some 20 funeral services, which is plenty for me as I currently have a full-time job and this is a side line for me, at the moment. And I felt fully prepared and able to deal with the many things that come up during the course of preparing and delivering a funeral service.

She didn’t pressure me to sign up for training but left it very much up to decide if I was ready to do so. I decided to go ahead and that was a great decision!

Cate provides a comprehensive training package, has a lovely warm manner when delivering it and was also very honest about exactly what is involved in becoming a funeral celebrant.
